I love these bows!!!!

These are the best bows for baby girls............No Slippy Hair Clippy they are called. They are a little pricey at $8 each, but soo worth it! They stay in their hair so well! I need to go order some more!

You can see Katie's new "battle scar" on her eye. Yesterday, she rolled into the bottom of the exersaucer and this is what happened! Her first "boo boo"....................

Katie has a MOHAWK!!!!

The kids helped me bathe the babies tonight.............and they got a little carried away while brushing Katie's hair! :)

Mommy as a baby

Here is a baby pic of me............I think Katie looks most like me, but I think Emma has my mouth, definitely!

My pretty girls............

So, yesterday, Marc and Lexi coerced me into taking them to the mall. I packed up all SEVEN kids and we headed out to Franklin Mills Mall. I get tired of going to the local mall, and I was up for something different! The babies did great! I even found these cute velcro bows for the girls' hair...............they didn't stay in long, but were so ADORABLE! I took their pic really quick with my cell phone as we were walking the mall. All the babies loved strolling the mall-and I even picked up some cheap summer clothes for them for next year. We had a good day!

This is what I bought at Target........and Emma and Matty enjoying it!

Well, I bought SOME baby food! :) Thanks to the great coupon I have, I have been making daily trips to Target and stocking up on Gerber baby food. For instance, tonight, I printed out 52 coupons and bought 104 Gerber foods! The cashier was very cool, thank God, but it is embarassing! We came home and organized all the food into vegetables/meats and fruits............so it will be easier to access when we use them. This seems like so much food, but it's really not a lot. We estimated we use about 12 "tubs" a day at least of food, so that is 84 tubs weekly, and I guess around 336 tubs monthly. AT LEAST that. Tonight for instance, the 3 of them were eating like crazy. Between the 3 of them I gave them 6tubs of food!!! OMG!!!!

Our new backyard.............

So, I know this is a blog about the children, but I had to give credit where credit was due. Tom, my brother, and Marc spent 3 days transforming our backyard. Sod, Sod, Sod. What a difference it makes. The first pic is before, and the next 2 are after. We had a few trees cut down this spring, and it was impossible for grass to grow. Thank God for sod!! I want to go lay down in the backyard now!

I was enjoying some "Katie girl" time as all the other babies were already sleeping............she eventually fell asleep in my arms.................

Pool time!!!!

It was pool time last night! The entire family went in the pool last night..........the babies had a blast, but it sure was a lot of work!

Austin, the future fireman!

Look how handsome Austin looked! This was taken at Nicky's picnic at his school a few weeks ago...............

My youngest cut a tooth!

I'm not sure if you can see the tooth in this pic, but it is there! My youngest, the "baby" of the family, Austin has a tooth! It hurts when he bites now! :) I can't believe it finally happened! What a big guy!

8 months already and we're learning new tricks!

Yes, we are 8 months old already! Emma is our most mobile and she loves to stick out her tongue as she is showing in the pic! She "slithers" all around the house, showing up in the weirdest places!!! I love watching her get around the house!
Matty has discovered his feet, as shown in the pic! He loves sucking on his toes and rolling all around the living room! He is doing excellent-no more crying and fussiness like before the surgery. He loves taking his bottle, and believe it or not, is my best solid food eater. He eats an entire jar of vegetables and an entire jar of fruit and still cries for more!
Austin and Katie are doing well. Austin has really became "vocal" lately, really making it known he is around! Katie, too. She "talks", too, her voice so much more raspy than the rest! We feed Katie 2x/day now, 10 tsp of pudding. She does so well and is getting so big!
We took the kids for their 8 month weight check on Tuesday, and they are as follows:

Matthew 12.10 lbs (up from 11.6 lbs last month)
Emma 15.15 lbs (up from 14.14 lbs)
Kaitlin 15.2 lbs (up from 14.2 lbs)
Austin 18.4 lbs (up from 17.14 lbs) didn't gain much but I attribute it to his reflux vomiting )

The doc is very pleased with their progress. After their 9 month checkup, doc said we would begin table food!!!! Higher calorie foods for them.................. :) I am so lucky they are doing so well!
