Happy Halloween!!!!!!!!!

Here we are............two pumpkins, two scarecrows, and a "Joker" clown.........So, yes, I survived Halloween with four "almost" TWO year olds and ONE six year old! :) The babies did really well. I swear, I always say that if God was gonna give me four babies at once, he BETTER give me four GOOD ones!
They did great tonight. Tom and I took them out on the leashes and Nicky went ahead. Whenever they got distracted, we would just say, "Go get Nicky" and they would go in the right direction!
Lexi decided she was too old to go TOT'ing............so she went over my sister's house and helped give out candy...........
Happy Halloween, everyone!!!!!
PS-Just wanted to say a quick thank you to Brandi for the handmedown Pumpkin costumes.............the girls looked absolutely adorable in them!!! :) And it saved me a TON of money............ :)

Nicky LOVES to roller skate.........

We had a second birthday to go to tonight.......one of Nick's classmates.............he could NOT wait to go rollerskating there. He absolutely loves it. The party was at one of those places that have a variety of things to do: roller skating, jungle gym, bounce houses, arcade, etc...........Nick ran right for the roller skates and had so much fun!

Bouncin' Matty! :)

Future policeman among us?

Nick played dress up at the birth day party today..............and of course he chose the POLICE costume..............doesn't he look cute in a uniform???? lol

Smilin' Matty..............

How can I get mad at this face???!!!! Matty is all emotion..............he is either completely happy and carefree...........OR completely miserable. That is my Matty.............

Birthday party for the Huling kids!!!

Today we went to our friends' birthday party. Matthew was turning five, and Kyle and Mallory were turning two years old. We met the Huling family when we were seeing the Maternal Fetal Medicine doctors at the hospital while pregnant with the quads. Kim was expecting her twins, and Chris (her hubby) just KNEW I was carrying MORE than ONE!!!! :) Yup, he was right!!!! :) Coincidentally, their twins were born while my four were in the NICU............and that is where our friendship started..............over those long chats while holding our teeny tiny newborns..................and look at us now. The kids were celebrating their 2nd birthday, and we are approaching ours! :) Anyway, my kiddos had a GREAT time...........and even impressed me by using forks to eat their cake!!!!! Mommy has to start letting them grow up!
**Happy Birthday Matthew, Kyle, and Mallory!!!!*****

Are we supposed to be NAPPING???

One day last week seemed like it would never end!!! I was trying to get the kiddos to take a nap, and boy, they wanted NOTHING to do with it..............First, I went in there b/c I heard way too much giggling..........well, it seems Matty got out of his duct taped pajamas. So I re-taped him, and told them to go night night. About ten minutes later, I hear Austin SCREAMING, "MOMMY!!!!!!!!!!" I rush in there and both girls are sitting on his back, pinning him down! Once I handled that situation, within minutes, they were all holding hands in a circle, playing Ring Around the Rosie...............too c ute! I grabbed the camera, but of course, my kids suddenly turned SHY! lol................

Off to the pumpkin patch!

Thanks to Aunt Patti and Uncle Vinny, we were able to take the kids to the pumpkin patch! They were all very unsure of the tractor ride, although Emma and Austin warmed up at the end...........Katie wanted NOTHING to do with it.........she had a sourpuss on her face the whole time!!! :) The babies all walked through the pumpkin patch and picked out some pumpkins.......afterwards we went to the Fall Festival at a local park and enjoyed the festivities........including some yummy funnel cake! :)
PS-Notice the "harnesses" I bought? They really are working out well. The kids are learning how to walk with them.............Austin is still the hardest..........he wants to go his own way all the time!

Dinner at Burger King..........

Nicholas has been bugging us to go play inside Burger King............so I suggested to Tom that we should bring the babies, too. I know, I know..........not the MOST sanitary place for them to play, but oh well, right? Anyway, the babies had a GREAT time. Nick was super excited to "show" the babies how to climb the tubes and "lead" the way to the slide........He really is a good big brother. The babies ate their chicken tenders and french fries, and even spilled some on the floor............then before I could clean up the fries, some went in their mouths~ YUCK! But, all in all, we had a great afternoon at the local fast food joint.......

Great Grandmom's 89th birthday party!

Yes, we had a big party to go to this past weekend............Grandmom's 89th! :) The kids did really well.........Nicholas had a blast "break dancing" on the floor, showing off his moves to everyone that would watch! I was also lucky enough to have some great little cousins help play with the babies and keep an eye on them! They're going to make good Mommies one day!!! :) And...........my kiddos were eating off utensils................so I know I REALLY have to work on that with them.................THEY CAN DO IT-it's just Mommy not letting them do it!!!!! :)
Oh, and Nicky wrote on the board all hearts and all the kiddos names for Great Grandmom-thought it was too cute! :)

All lined up..........

What a perfect picture opportunity!

I've resorted to tape!

Yes, I've resorted to electrical tape! I know-sooo bad, right? I am constantly going in their room during naptime to find everyone NAKED and running around like wild Indians! Sooo, I've tried the backwards pajamas-they don't work-the kids unzip each other! So, in order to prevent any more "poop parties", I taped their pajamas on, so they can't get them off!!!!
OMG-does it get easier???? lol

Tackling my sister!

Yes, that's my "innocent" Katie tackling her sister................ :)

Daddy's Babies..............

All the little ones sure love to spend time with Daddy before he goes to work each morning...........

Getting the most out of our Halloween clothes......

So, of course I want to buy the kiddos all the cute Halloween clothes-but with FOUR of them, the price really adds up! Soooooo, we started out today wearing some of our Halloween clothes! I figure if I can get some good use out of them before 10/31, it will be money well spent!!!! :)

Waiting at dance class.........

Here are the kiddos waiting for Lexi to finish dance class.............they did so well waiting patiently for her!!!! (Of course, they had some yummy lollipops to occupy them!) :)
