I LOVE this table!!!!!

So, I recently got very, very tired of cleaning four highchairs. Extremely tired. Do you know how many crevices there are in FOUR highchairs??? Do you realize how much dirt and grime can hide in FOUR high chairs? Ugh-I was so disgusted with it. Then, I came across a post on www.mostonline.org (Mothers of SuperTwins) where a mother of quads boasted about this Toddler Table. Well, I checked it out and fell in love with it. The idea of all four babies together, no crevices for dirt to hide, and small enough to fit in my kitchen-LOVE IT! It actually takes up less space than four high chairs! And did I mention how easy it is to clean????? NO CREVICES!!!! :)

Daddy gave Matty a hair cut!

Daddy broke out the clippers tonight! Matty's hair was getting crazy on the side and back. So, Daddy brought out his beard trimmer and trimmed Matty's sides and back of his head. He was growing a tail in the back! :) As you can see, Matty is not pleased with the outcome! :)

March of Dimes "Every Baby has a Story"

We attended the MOD "Every Baby has a Story" at CHS@ Mercer. We met our friends, the Zerilli family there. The March of Dimes is about ALL babies... those born healthy and those that need our help to survive. Every baby has a story, and they want those stories told. So, we got to "hop on the bus" and "tell our story." I told about how at 29 weeks pregnant, I was SHOCKED to find out I was actually having FOUR babies!!!!! So, check out www.marchofdimes.com/everybaby and read the amazing stories written about all the babies. It really makes for some good reading! :) And while you are there, donations always help! :)

The boys' shoes!

Definitely not a great picture, but you can see the boys' shoes in it. After going to church, then visiting Grandmom K., we attempted to go to the Harvest Festival. The key word there is "attempted". As soon as we arrived, Matty started SCREAMING! He would not stop. We tried to give him a bottle, I held him, walked him, gave him some treats, and nothing worked. We stayed about 20 minutes and left. I was hoping to meet up with our good friend, Brandi, who has triplets, but it didn't work out. Can you imagine the sight of TRIPLETS and QUADS??????????

Look who got their 1st pair of shoes!

Thanks to Nanny and Poppy, all four babies got new Stride Rite shoes today! Their sizes are:
Austin 4.5 EXTRA wide
Matty 2.5 medium lol
Emma 3.5 wide
Katie 3 wide
The girls got matching white shoes, but b/c the boys have such varying sizes, they each bought a different pair. I will try and get a pic of the boys tomorrow....................so cute!

Austin???????

Nope!
This is NIcholas at about a year old! I couldn't believe it when I found this pic! I knew Austin resembled Nicky, but I never realized how much!!!!

My big 11 month olds!!!!

So we took the babies for their 11 month checkup on Tuesday. And for flu shots for all 7 kids! The babies did great! All are doing phenomenal!
Austin 20.15 lbs!
Emma 18.4 lbs!
Katie 17.5 lbs!
Matty 15.6 lbs!
The doctor was pleased with all four babies. All, including Matty, are following a great growth pattern. I should continue to feed them fatty foods, including butter, heavy cream, and avocado. (All the things I should stay away from! ) :)

My four pumpkins..................

Matty, Emma, Austin, and Katie. While rummaging through clothes for a yard sale we are having, I found this "pumpkin" hat Nicholas had when he was first born. All the babies enjoyed wearing it for a turn. Katie was the best though-she never took it off! Until Emma went after it!

Updates...........

So, our babies are almost 11 months old! Where did the time go? Here are some pics from this time last year..................wow! And I still had more than a month to go! :)
Anyway, the babies are doing so well.
Emma officially took her first step yesterday. She has been standing "unassisted" for some time now, and finally took one step before she fell down yesterday. She is still my "little devil" or "chaos" as Tom call her. She is inquisitive and has no fear. I think that's a good quality, believe it or not! When Emma gets very tired or even sick, alls I here from her is "ma ma".............
Austin's doing great! He is my big teddy bear. He loves to cuddle and absolutely adores my mother's crocheted blankets. He actually cried in his crib tonight until Lexi handed him one of those blankets. He is the biggest, but by far the most loveable. He loves to be held and his new thing is climbing on everything and even trying to tear down the curtains...............numerous times a day! Austin also says a variety of things, "ba ba, mama, dada"...........
Katie is doing soo well. We are feeding her finger foods and she is having a blast with all the new textures in her mouth and new tastes. She loves the Gerber Cheese puffs=they are her favorite. Katie also stands unassisted, but hasn't mastered taking a step yet. She is such a good girl-so calm, mellow, and a very happy baby. She can play by herself for hours and be happy. Katie CAN say "mama" although lately she prefers "dada" over and over and over again! Daddy is so proud! :)
And Matty, my little "peanut" Matthew. He is doing well, too. We are giving him higher-calorie foods to try and boost his weight gains. He is consistently "army crawling" and sometimes crawling the correct way. He stands, cruises, and sits down perfectly. He just started sitting up a few weeks ago. He is doing so well. He hasn't got the "consonant" thing yet, he more just kind of yells to let you know what he wants, but I am sure it will come in time..............
11 month, wow-where did the time go?
Bad news is that none of the babies qualify for the RSV shot. I was hoping at least Katie would, but the pediatrician told us today that she does not. Ugh-I better buy humungous bottles of Purell for the family to use................... :)

Here are some pics of the boys from yesterday..................along with some pics of a "typical" day at the Wilke Quad household: babies climbing over each other!!!!

Marc and Emma............

Marc loves playing with Emma. I think because she has no fear and hardly ever cries!! I think Marc can relate! :) Anyway, here are some cute pics of Marc playing with her............
