from Feeding and Swallowing! She had her follow up appointment today and they discharged her! YAY! One less appointment to worry about! :) They had no further recommendations for her; she is doing well in their eyes. I am to just continue to calorie boost. They feel that she may just have a higher metabolism than her siblings........and she did grow a lot taller so t hat is making her look skinnier. Yay for Katie!

Katie MIGHT be done with GI????
Yes, that is the news of the day here in the Wilke home! I took Katie to CHOP GI today (along with sis Emma!) for her check up. The GI doctor was happy Katie was "holding her own" and AS LONG as she continues to gain, she will be DISCHARGED from the GI dept! Yay-one less appointment to worry about! :) Doc said Katie was in the less than 4th percentile, however, he doesn't seem concerned at the moment. As long as she continues to grow and doesn't lose, this may just be who Katie is. She just may be a "skinny" girl.......... :) She's jumped up on her height, and doc is not concerned at all about that. I am to call him each month for the next two months with her weights. And as long as she has gained, he is going to discharge! Go, Katie girl!!!!

Happy Memorial Day!
We had fun at the Memorial Day Parade today................although I *THINK* the babies may have been more of an attraction than the actual parade! :)

Day at Point Pleasant
Boy, oh, boy did everyone enjoy themselves at the boardwalk today. Nicky was soooo excited to "search and collect" seashells, and the babies just LOVED watching everything going on. Lexi learned a hard money lesson by spending a lot of her money on a game that was impossible to win! All in all, we all had fun, even though we were a spectacle with our cool stroller! :)
Thank you, Nanny and Poppy for coming along and treating us to a fun day! :)

Goodbye Mason...... :(
We put our 11year old friend to sleep on 5/21. :( Mason was a very good dog and a very good friend to us. We are surely going to miss him!
Goodbye, Mason.

My "twins"..........
I always say Emma is a spitting image of her Daddy..........I think she resembles him so much-I don't see ANYTHING of me in her........ :)

Lexi's vocal concert
Lexi had her Spring Vocal concert on 5/15. She did GREAT. She really loves to sing, act, dance, all types of artsy stuff. Totally NOT like me! :)

Mason
Our family dog, Mason, is dying. :( Tom and I have had him since July 1997 when he was born. He's Tom's first "son"! We joke b/c Tom wanted to name his son Mason, and at the time I did not like the name, so he named his dog that! :) He has a tumor in his belly, blood clots in his leg, and kidney disease/failure. The vet said that at most, he has one month to live. Ugh. So sad.

Matthew........my little daredevil!
Yes, this was my Matty today. It was so beautiful outside, I brought them out on the front lawn-caged in, of course! :) But, my Matty kept standing on the slide. I kept telling him, "No, Matty, sit down." And he would crouch down, but then right back up again!!!

13 years old???!!!! OMG........ :)
Lexi turns 13 years old tomorrow. I can't believe how old she is! We have another teenager in the house! Yikes! :) We celebrated her birthday last night, since Tom is not off tomorrow and it is Nicky's 1st t-ball game. So, we had family over last night...........and we are planning a pool party for Lexi and her friends in June, once it is warmer outside. Happy Birthday Lexi!
